People borrow USDG against collateral worth more than their loan, and the interest they pay flows back to everyone in the vault. No emissions dressed up as yield. The rate rises and falls with how much people want to borrow.

Nothing to hand over, nothing to lose.
Most money apps want your identity before they show you a number. Velvetlend wants nothing. Because our code never collects anything, there is nothing to leak, nothing to sell, and nothing to hand over if anyone comes asking.
Chain reads go through our own relay, so the node provider never sees your address. Fonts and code come from this site alone. The only thing in our database is public vault figures.
Don't trust us. Check.
Right-click anywhere, choose Inspect, open the Network tab and reload. Every request comes from this site — no analytics, no outside fonts, no trackers. Then open Application and look at Cookies: empty.
The page also carries a strict content policy that blocks requests to outside domains at the browser level. Even if something tried to phone home, your browser would refuse it. The full details are here.
What this does not mean
Your transactions are public. Deposits and withdrawals live on Robinhood Chain, where anyone can read them, like every other transaction there. We cannot change that and we won't pretend to. What we promise is narrower and fully in our hands: our code collects nothing about you. If you need your on-chain activity itself to be private, this is not the tool for that.
Vaults lend money out, so on a busy day part of a withdrawal may take a little longer while borrowers repay. Borrowers can default, curators can misjudge a market, and USDG is a stablecoin that depends on holding its peg.

No. Your USDG goes straight from your wallet into the vault contract, and the vault shares come back to your wallet. There is no path for us to move them.
Yes, there is no lockup. On a normal day it comes back right away. If many people withdraw at once, part of it may take longer while borrowers repay — the app shows you what is available before you sign.
No. It moves with borrowing demand. What you see is a recent average measured from the vault itself, not a promise of what comes next.
No — they are public on the chain like every other transaction. What is private is everything on our side: we don't ask who you are and we don't store anything about you.
No. Earning never requires it, and nothing about your deposit changes whether you hold it or not.
